Hey guys so i took my car to the shop for a timing chain problem on march 23 and they supposedly “fixed it” the following day but as i arrived they started it and revved it on cold start and it immediately galloped and died then i had to spend another $160 for a second diagnostic for them to tell me its the camshaft.
fast forward $3700 and a month later they told me it was “fixed” i came the week after on may 1 and arrived to someone working on the hood because it “wasn’t opening” that morning. I asked why didn’t they tell me first but no direct response except the were trying to bring it out to the lot, i told them i’m not paying for nothing cause why would i, I didn’t break it they did, so they proceeded to remove the latch and used the rope in the picture to hold the hood down, i looked inside the car and it looked like it was ransacked but after trying to leave i noticed my dashcam was missing, i told them about it and he said someone broke into their yard and it seems like they left my car unlocked cause there was no struggle for entry. I told them i would be back for a free hood fix they said they will check their cameras. On the way home the hood lifted halfway and almost flew back to the windshied (i was only going 50mph highway limit) then the engine light came back on 10 minutes later for the same codes. I got home checked what else was missing and my car registration, chargers, car wash supplies, jean paul cologne🥲, burberry scarf, my sister’s toyota Prius spare key, some iphone chargers and miscellaneous were all gone. Now the main question is, is this lawsuit suitable or what.?
