I’m looking for some advice on making a strategic career pivot. I'm currently based out of Bangalore and I’ve spent the last 10 years in the financial services industry, with the last 6 years specifically focused on CRE (Commercial Real Estate) servicing.
My background has been non-linear (across various functions such as M&A Advisory, CRE Valuations, Private Credit, and CRE Credit Monitoring) but I’ve hit a point where I’m looking to move into a different domain (this time with a long-term perspective).
I currently hold a Bachelors in Accounting and Finance from UAE (graduated 2014), and have been working since 2016.
I’m currently in a stable-ish role, so I have the bandwidth to learn and transition the "right" way.
I would like to understand the options that I have to make a career switch (or at least have the option to make a move) to something that I actually enjoy.
