Grind size? Ratios? Dripper? Fresh Beans? Or a combination of all the above? Does personal preference factor greatly into it?
I've had a Hario V60 paired with a Fellow Carafe for the past few months, and while I can produce decent brews, I can't intuitively understand how to elevate my 'coffee game'
Is it mostly a trial and error process or are there a few determining factors which will immediately improve the quality of my coffee?
For example, I've been using a Colombia blend the past 2 weeks (1:15 ratio) which has notes of Forest Fruits, Almond and Caramel. The mouthfeel is very 'heavy'. Its not unpleasant at all but nothing noteworthy
Any help or advice would be appreciated! Thanks!
