My dog started limping on a front leg 3 or 4 days ago. Not sure what happened. She will still run to the front window and jump up on the couch to bark at people when she hears them outside. But otherwise if she puts too much weight on it too quickly she yelps. She's also panting a bit after getting up to walk.
I have rubbed and pressed all over her leg and paw with no reactions from her.
She is 11 years old, mid-sized, overweight with a few lipomas, but none near the leg. I give her a hip & joint treat with glucosamine and turmeric, but I don't remember to do it every day.
Should I take her to the vet or is this probably a sprain that will just take time to heal?
