I want to create this color effect on my prom dress but I’m not sure if it’s possible through dying. The description says it’s tulle-lined, I’m not sure exactly what the opaque layer under is, but that’s what I’d be dying red. What do you think?

I want to create this color effect on my prom dress that’s tulle-lined and completely black. I don’t trust myself to sew it so I plan to either put a red tulle skirt between the layers or dye the layer of non-tulle that’s under the dress. What do you think would be best?
