I’ve been with this company for 4 1/2 years. As a trans person (ftm) I do NOT like this “new” look for Michael’s. The fact that I’m terrified of using a bathroom in my own work place is beyond me. And now that EVERYONE has to wear aprons is ridiculous. I have not had top surgery yet. Been on T for a couple of years and still get misgendered even though I have facial hair and don’t look like a female at all. So wearing an apron is VERY uncomfortable for me as a person. I’ve spent money on shirts because I hate the apron idea. I’m a custom framer and have spent probably almost $150 on shirts for framing because that’s what I’m comfortable with. I now do NOT feel safe working for this company anymore and I don’t know what to do.
