Hey everyone,

I wanted to share something we've been building for over 4 years now.

KNGO Germany e.V. is a small nonprofit based in Germany that supports the Khmer New Generation Organization (KNGO Cambodia) in Battambang. KNGO Cambodia was founded in 2007 and has been running a school for children from families who simply can't afford education.

Here's what we do:

  • 450 students currently attend KNGO's school regularly, learning English, Khmer, and Math
  • We provide monthly food packages to 45 sponsored children from the poorest families
  • including rice, eggs, and basic supplies – so they can stay in school instead of working
  • Kids who need bikes to get to school receive them through our sponsors
  • Students take real exams, and many go on to pass national grade 12 finals
  • We run health programs including eye care (16 students recently received glasses)

The number we're most proud of: only 1.45% of donations go to admin costs. Almost every cent reaches the kids directly.

We publish quarterly reports with detailed results from our work on the ground. Full transparency, no fluff.

If you're looking for a small, hands-on organization where your money actually makes a visible difference – we'd love for you to check us out.

Happy to answer any questions about our work, how we keep costs so low, or what daily life looks like at the KNGO school in Battambang.
