My friend wants to go out to a jazz club for his birthday (within in the next few weeks). Is there a spot that folks would recommend that has good, chill vibe. I'd prefer SF but would consider Oakland/Berkeley. He likes jazz but he's not super particular as far as type is concerned. Though I think he's more of a cool jazz guy than acid jazz if that makes sense.
