I’ve hit my breaking point at Starbucks, a 368 partner I’ve applied to be a shift about 8 times in less then 4 years. I’ve become a trainer, I’ve done barista champion ships, I’ve started my coffee masters, and hell I’ve done almost all the volunteer the company has done. Yet when I had my sit down with the manager I was told “You can apply again, your not going to get though” and his whole reason was about an issue from over a year ago when I was getting yelled at because I didn’t over lap the cookies properly and I had snapped back and got labeled as “ aggressive”. The one incident has apparently ruined any chance I have on getting promoted.
I’ve worked my ass off for this company, I’ve done 14 hour days, closed then opened to then stay till close, I’ve worked over 50hours at one point yet I’ll never move up in this company. Screw Starbucks.
