Hi everyone, I’m excited to share that I’m buying my first house and will hopefully be getting the keys this Friday! Despite 3 prior attempts falling through at the final stages, I made it.

I was hoping to get some advice - I feel quite nervous because I’m not sure of any additional bits I need to do or consider once I get the keys aside from the usual moving house stuff like sorting out the bills. Do I need to register anything? Do I need to get services done? I feel pretty clueless with it all as I’ve always rented and not had to worry about it.

And if anyone has any general advice on moving and maintaining a home I’d really appreciate it.
