I incurred CC debt during Covid-- lost work and was using credit cards for expenses. I stopped paying like two years ago, receiving phone calls and letters from collection. I received a letter from a law firm saying my creditor is considering filing a law suit against me. I don't know what to make of it. I don't know if I should respond to this? Also, what happens if they sue me, do I have to go to the court, and since I am not in a position to pay, what should I expect from the judge? I am seeking sincere advice from people who were in my situation. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
