I am TTC for 9 months and since nothing happened, I went to the doctor to get some tests done. Just received my results and I am completely shocked:
- FSH - 9.14 (range: 3.03-8.08) done in CD5
- AMH - 0.55 (CD 4)
- AFC 7 (CD 2)
Vitamin D is fine and I haven’t been on hormones BC for 10 years.
Doctor recommended me to go to a fertility clinic, but I read that with low AMH and AFC it will be harder to retrieve eggs.
My mom was very fertile, got pregnant 4x without even trying and went through menopause at 59 years old!!
I would never imagine that I would have such low ovary reserve at this age.
I also have always suspected that I had endometrioses due to moderate pain periods and ovulation pain but no doctor ever wanted to do further investigation. Should I push for endometriosis testing?
Should I keep trying to get pregnant naturally?
Am I going through menopause soon?
I am completely lost and feeling hopeless.
