Not even exaggerating, I am livid right now.

Been using Pin for the past few weeks for sourcing outreach. Woke up this morning and my LinkedIn account is flagged and I cannot access it. Years of connections, relationships, my entire pipeline just gone overnight with zero warning.

Did some digging and this is apparently a known issue with how Pin operates. They are scraping LinkedIn data in ways that violate their terms of service and accounts are paying the price for it. I just wish I had known that before handing over access to my account.

If you are using Pin, just be careful. This is not a one off situation. I have seen other people mention the same thing happening to them. I thought I was being smart by using a sourcing tool to save time. Instead I am now locked out of my own LinkedIn account with no clear path to getting it back.

Absolutely furious. Do your research before trusting Pin with your LinkedIn account.

Has anyone else dealt with this? Any luck getting the account reinstated?
