I just started a new in-person job last week after being laid off from my remote position of 5 years and I am STRUGGLING. I thought this would be a good time to start new habits and get to a healthy weight. I have been eating about 1800-1900 calorie/day and I’m trying to reduce to 1500 for now. I‘m packing my breakfasts (2 egg omelet with a side of veggies), lunches (Thai curry loaded with butter beans, squash and frozen veggies with 3/4 cup of rice) and snacks (cheese stick and an apple). I feel full and sated but as soon as I get home, I just want to devour everything in sight. Is this just an adjustment phase or am I not eating as much satiating food as I thought I was during the day? what can I do to prevent myself from eating too much at night?
