i use AI for things i dont care about, and I take no pride in what it produces for me. its like microwaving a hotdog

do i think its a net negative for a society and the environment? probably. am i addicted to how mindless and easy it is to use over actually using my brain? absolutely. time to go microwave another hotdog

i was playing the ps2 rom and i noticed tidus' cutscene model stuck for a second and i had hd tidus for a second outside of the cutscene. i had the thought to mess around with the pcsx2 memory editor to make it think its always in a cutscene, but it just sounds like a wild goose chase

kids that are starting to question what they really want to focus on, young adults that enrolled for something that they feel AI is going to replace shortly

the anxiety i feel out in the world among young people is on another level and ive never seen people this lost and confused before honestly

would you still use it, i'm going to assume all anti's would automatically say no. this isn't a debate on whether you'd ever be able to tell if its suffering, or what it would even mean for it to be able to, in this hypothetical it just objectively does
