I was looking on Idealista.it and finding lots of good, cheap listings. However, half the listers don't respond, and the other half that have so far said they are only renting for winter.

I'm planning on staying from late August to late November (End of Summer-Fall).

Some private people list their places on Facebook but they're a little sketchy and few of them speak any English. I only speak super basic Italian and otherwise need a translator. VRBO is way too expensive.

Any website I can find a 2-room short-term apt for hopefully $1k a month or under?
