I just want to share something regarding activating in-car internet in the new 2026 model.

No matter what every time I tried to connect to AT&t website via notification on the screen I couldn't do it. I had a connection error. The website itself looks like this:

I had to change a couple of numbers because from what I understand it directly represents my car on AT&t website but regardless here's the way I fixed it.

  1. Create a hotspot on your vehicle and activate it

  2. Connect to that hotspot with your phone, the phone will tell you that there is no internet on that hotspot. Disregard that message and you should see that login on your phone with very same website, but because there is no internet in the car, you won't be able to connect it on your phone as well. Just copy the whole website URL address.

  3. Disconnect from the car. Go back to your regular cellular internet.

  4. Put that address that you copied from that pop-up. That will look like something that I showed before and go to it.

At that time you should see in ATT website with your Vin and basically you got to go through the process of connecting to the internet and activating your $0 3 month trial.

Hi guys , quick question.

How exactly such update will come. I mean play store apps updating by itself but Gemini update will be considered as firmware update or play service that is beyond google play store and will need something like Mazda connected Services update via flash drive ?

Anyone knows ?

P.S.

Did anyone got Gemini yet ? Because Gemini on my pixel swears to digital gods that Gemini is AVAILABLKE as of right now on all Mazda CX-5 2026, unless it's a region thing and then it may not be available in your specific area.

The second time in one week I woke up and saw a red light coming from my nas. Same drive (#2) Upon reboot everything goes back to normal. I am Trying to pinpoint the problem. Is it a mechanical problem with #2 or a raid issue. I looked in the SMART and I don't see what's wrong with the drive. Nothing stands out.

Also if I connect my external USB drive to the back of Nas for direct data transfer instead of using the network what is the file manager I use because there are none I can install from the app list after the cloud 5 update I think. And me thinking I'll get full usb3 speed if I connect an external USB drive to my EX2 Ultra is it accurate ?
