Happy to report that my T3 clearance was granted today and because I found this sub helpful when going thru the process, I wanted to report my timeline for information purposes for others:

This clearance is for a DOD contractor.

12/19/25 - SF-86 and fingerprints submitted
1/3/26 - Application opened and investigation started
1/16/26 - Interim granted
2/26/26 - Investigation closed and sent to adjudication
5/11/26 - Final clearance granted

All in all, relatively short amount of time based on other posts I’ve seen. I am pretty boring though with no red flags beyond foreign travel for vacations yearly or bi-yearly to known tourist destinations in Mexico and the Caribbean.
