I attempted suicide 2.5 years ago (not the first time in my life). I now pay for therapy for my friend who found me this last time. Early life was extremely violent. Because of my early experiences, I chose violent lines of work (still in a violent line of work, not law enforcement or military) because it’s what I’m accustomed to, but have a much healthier relationship with it now and I’m great at it.
