

How to know if you've reached your peak bulk
You’ll know you’re near your “peak bulk” pag hindi na proportional yung muscle gain sa timbang na nadadagdag.
Usually ganito yung signs:
Strength gain slows down - dati weekly may dagdag reps/weight, ngayon halos wala kahit surplus ka pa
Visual changes get worse - mas lumalaki tiyan/face vs chest, shoulders, arms, legs
You look “puffy” not “bigger” - softer physique, less definition, kahit may muscle pa rin
Recovery/Performance drops - madaling mapagod, sluggish, poor sleep, weaker pumps
Clothes fit differently - mas sikip waist kaysa upper body
Weight gain becomes too fast - more than 0.25-0.5 kg/week, usually means extra fat na mostly.
Simple rule:
If you’re asking yourself “am I still building muscle or just getting fat?” for several weeks straight, malamang malapit ka na sa limit ng productive bulk mo.
For most lifters, sweet spot is staying around:
Lean bulk: manageable body fat, visible shape pa rin
Stop before abs completely disappear and cardio feels terrible
At that point, mas okay na mag mini-cut or maintenance phase kaysa pilitin pa yung bulk.
