So I took lactoferrin for a few days No other supplements to see how lactoferrin makes me feel. Those days I took it in the morning with oatmeal and eggs. Then right before bed I'd get a bad headache and cramps with gas and it made me urinate more than usual.

I stopped taking it and the bad headache went away. But I looked online and several people said that this is common and is a die off reaction that goes away after several days if you ride it out it should go away.

What is the Lactoferrin doing to cause this? Is it killing off bacteria or sapping iron from my body?

I'm taking jarrow lactoferrin one pill a day. I'm not taking any other supplements. This is the second day and it gave me a bad headache at night and dry eyes making me wake up in the middle of night.

Is this normal reaction? Do I have to ride it out and it will get better or go away after a few more days on it?

Ive been seeing so many commercial ads for iherb Nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN) online, when I play an APP it pops up all the time or look on YouTube.

I remember so many products being pushed remember Raspberry Ketones? or the Green Coffee extract or resveratrol, Collagen Peptides they were all the IT products at one point and hyped up by celebs, Doctors, and media online and they kinda disappeared from discussion except for Collagen.

Collagen Peptides is the only one that has maintained its status after the initial hype and continues to gain traction for years with many new products and promotion

Berberine is also getting a heavy push, a lot of supplements during the Covid era got a bump and were trending like Lactoferrin/Colostrum, NAC, Quercitin, etc

I have store credits stacked up I have to use at iherb and I'm going to buy Colostrum but I don't want to waste my money which brand from iherb is the best.

Thanks

Im highly suspicious that they can price it at 29 dollars compared to the Jarrow and AOR Lactoferrin which are close to $60 dollars.

There is no way this is good quality Lactoferrin, there has to be a catch for it to be so cheap. Nutricost has a lot of vitamins for too good to be true prices, usually means they get it sourced from China or India where they dont have much regulation.
