Well folks, here it is. I have a few touchups, but I am happy with how it turned out.
Roast me or boast me. Thank you to all who commented with advice. It was very helpful.

Hello tile gurus. I am requesting advice on how to lay penny sheets to avoid the sheet look. Picture illustrates this (they are dry laid). Any advice is appreciated. From what I have found, staggering in a brick pattern can work and/or cutting sheets in half.
Edit: plan of record
- Skim coat with non-sag thinset to fill ditra waffles. Cure 24h.
- Lay penny sheets with notched trowel. Cure 24h.
- white epoxy grout. Cure 24h.
