I just moved into a new house and this is what the builder set up.
It's a long narrow room and obviously the screen is not the correct size and if I use it as a 16 x 9, it's about 100 inches.
I think what I'm gonna do is buy an acoustically transparent screen cover the entire area and I can do 128 inch screen
So my question is this I didn't realize how big it was because someone got me a employee discount at Best Buy and I wound up with a dynamic DM 30 and as many people here probably know it's about 15 inches deep.
I don't really wanna lose 15 inches of room so I'm trying to decide if I simply put the speaker below the screen or sell it and get something much narrower put behind the screen.
I guess I got a little ahead of myself because I kept reading about what a good center channel it is and while he was picking up a projector and receiver, I had him grab that speaker for me.
And I guess on that note they're just moderate speakers around the rest of the room I too good of a center channel will sound unbalanced.
As I typed this, I'm thinking start with the center channel below the screen and then just go from there.
