Less trucks on the road?

So as of late ive been taking my 34s during the week and running thru the weekend. I've noticed that I can arrive at 6 or 7pm and I'd still find a lot of parking. Has it always been like this or are there actually less trucks due to the non domicile crackdowns?

So I've slept in paid parking a handful of times(always paid). Sometimes I pay thru the app and other times I pay in store and receive the slip for the window. Today I was thinking that the times I paid thru the app(no slip) I assumed maybe someone would come walking with an iPad and manually check info and see description of truck and move on. Thought that was kinda stupid and wondered if they actually check... So a couple hours later I'm chilling in my truck watching twitch and I hear a knock on my door, it's a Pilot worker asking if I paid for parking, I say yes and show the app slip and moves to the next truck. Guess they do check lol

Other subs also have trucking content and It'll be easier to share rather than going thru the hassle of screen record/screenshot then crop.
