I consider to cancel my attendance at the bachelorette party, because they will only drink and smoke weed. It will be also a weekend trip, so i can‘t go after few hours. However i feel really uncomfortable, because i hate club partys overall and don‘t like to drink and also don‘t smoke weed. I don‘t enjoy it overall and they also want to go to strip clubs. The guy who gets married is my childhood friend, but we grew apart and have different friend groups. I am not very into this kind off lifestyle they have (they smoke weed daily and i am not into this)
I feel a bit unsure if it is a fair move to not go there and just go to the wedding. I think i will be a party destroyer and will feel very uncomfortable. Some guys will be also probably mad / disappointed, if i decide to not go there. Were some of you guys in similar positions and how did you manage it?
