How much money do doctors get to testify in cases, and how is it legal for them to diagnose patients they don't have and never treated>
I saw that Depp brought a doctor to testify and claimed Amber Heard had Borderline Personality Disorder, yet saw very little valid evidence. The doctor he partnered with (or therapist not sure what degree she has) pretended she was knowledgeable and could diagnose Heard. This has made me never be able to trust a doctor on stand again, and it's truly terrifying to see how easily a case is derailed. Is this legal and how is she continuing to practice with no repercussions?
