Japanese retailer EBISU to open on Wolf Road in Colonie

For my fellow Asian (Japanese specifically) cosmetic and snack enjoyers, it's all kicking off this weekend.

"EBISU, founded in Osaka, Japan, is part of a chain with locations across the country. The 20 Wolf Road store will be the company’s first location in the Capital Region. EBISU’s current New York locations are primarily located across New York City and Long Island.

The store is known for “curating high-quality Asian goods,” such as food items, beauty products, toys and home goods, according to its website."

Hi all,

I'm under doctor's orders to eat more protein and so far it's been really expensive trying to shoehorn in bars and shakes and things (I'm already eating more meat, nuts, etc). I go through a box of Built Puffs a week or so because they're the only ones I've been able to stomach so far with my nightly cup of tea.

Are there any bars that are similar but cheaper? Or maybe even better but cheaper?

Only caveats are no coconut and nothing from Costco because we don't have one within 4 hours.
