I've seen all 3 movies and I'm just wondering why these people are so willing to spend so much money on trying to get rid of Jake Sully. They blew up hometree in the first movie which was on top of the massive vein of unobtanium that they wanted. They could just take that. I get that Quarritch and probably some other losers want revenge, but the ships, fuel, ammo, trips, etc have to be so expensive for those on earth. Why is he such a big deal? Did I miss a key event in one of the movies that makes him worth the billions spent on trying to get him back?
