Another victim of virtual PT came in! She was given a HEP and told to do the exercises daily. Unfortunately, she did! The shoulder flared up and her AROM is now worse than it was before. The PT, I use the term loosely, told her she needed to still push to get ROM. Sigh. She came in and said PT didn’t work. Now, I get the virtual PT could have just sucked and not instructed the patient properly, but the patient’s perception is that what she was receiving was physical therapy. We devalue ourselves everyday! Well done. Are we trying to replace ourselves with Apps?? Uhg.
