Lecom Bradenton rotation site question?
Hey everyone,
I’m trying to get a better understanding of the Tampa Regional Consortium rotation site for LECOM Bradenton and was hoping someone here could help clarify.
What hospitals are actually included in the Tampa Regional Consortium? I’ve seen it listed as one site, but I’m not sure which specific hospitals or systems you rotate through (like Tampa General, BayCare, VA, etc.).
Also, how are rotations structured within the consortium? Do you stay mostly at one hospital or move around depending on the rotation?
One more thing I’m curious about—if I’m more interested in a competitive specialty, is there still any access to the UF Health St. Johns (Flagler) rotation site, especially now that the Jacksonville campus is opening? Or are those rotations becoming more limited/assigned specifically to that campus?
Any insight from current students or recent grads would really help. Thanks in advance!
