Had surgery Oct 2025. Recovery was great, went on a trip to Italy and walked an average 15k steps per day in early April. Now out of the blue im having a flare up. Nothing close to where i was pre-op but its still annoying and is pissing me off. Only thing i can think of is putting down 4-5 bags of mulch. Mind you, i sat on my knees and did not technically lift any bags. Then used a giant rake to spread it out (no bending). This was 10 days ago and there was no oain right after. Anyway for the last 4 days or so its doing its tingling, pinching thing again. Pain is about a 2/10 where before surgery it was 12/10.
Anyone else experience anything similar? Doc keeps telling me recovery is not linear and you can have flare ups for more than a year out from surgery .
