I have a newsletter about movies and entertainment. I wanted to write an article about the best movies about the cinema, but I wasn't convinced with it. I realized that what I wanted was stories that evoked the same feelings as movies do.

Now I have added to the list: Inglorious bastards (for the meta message about the power of cinema itself, the exaggeration and the fictional ending and retelling of reality that just the cinema can portray), the Black swan (for the dedication and the sacrifices that comes with telling a beautiful tale while being killed by it, and loving it, because it feels more real than life itself) and Dead poets society (because I feel like deep down, it is a conversation about the transcendence of life and the beauty and wonder of life that we can appreciate if we are that brave).

There's other movies that for you —regardless of their theme—touch on something reminiscent of some aspect of cinema?
