Accidentally removed felt from bobbin case while cleaning

I have a problem with my brand new Juki. While cleaning it, I unknowingly removed a small black felt located in the hole of the bobbin case, thinking it was a lint buildup.
Ever since, the thread keeps breaking, there are knots under the fabric and the machine completely jams.
Has anyone experienced this before? Is the felt easy to replace?
I’m a beginner and I only realized I shouldn’t have removed it after watching a very detailed video which I obviously should have watched before, but I hadn’t come across it until now…
I bought the machine in a specialized sewing machine shop that also does repairs. Do you think this could be covered under warranty, given that it was an honest mistake while trying to maintain the machine properly?
