My manager and the HR rep I called on A to Z (we don’t have HR on site) were completely clueless. This happened to me yesterday as well, and HR said there was “no note” in their system so they had zero idea what happened, and there’s nothing going on at my building that would cause this. I was going to be late and use PTO, but now I’m not sure what to do? I don’t want to call HR again and have them remove the Excused a second time if it’s paid lol. I’ve seen “Non work paid time” and “US Excused unpaid” but never just “Excused.”
