I’m so happy Crosby is still a Raider
Two things I just wanted to throw out there to continue to the feel good story of this off season.
1.) I was looking at a few pre draft big boards that had Jermod McCoy hovering right around pick 14, which is the pick we would have gotten from the Ravens if they didn’t back out of the Crosby trade. The fact that we still got to pick up a prospect with that level of talent and we got to keep our best defensive player just feels fantastic.
2.) You could see the Tyree trade as a further indication that they aren’t looking to trade Crosby anymore. That 100% could change depending on the offers and how the season goes, but I think that as of right now, both parties really have moved on from that idea.
I’m excited to see Crosby get a better supporting cast around him. The whole back of our defense looks so much better than it did last year. I love that we got Stokes back and now adding Stukes and McCoy to the mix could give Max more time to get to the QB.
Everything is still a projection at this point but you can’t help but get excited at this time of year.
