Stay in Residential Property Management or leave for managing Shopping Mall ?

I’m really stuck with making a decision between staying at my current job or leaving to try managing a shopping mall. Wondering if anyone has any experience in shopping mall management they can share ?

Ok so just for some context, my job isn’t purely a corporate job since I’m on-site (I.e. admin office in the residential building) however the company has a head office is super corporate with the culture.

I’m a residential property manager for 2 big apartment buildings (400 doors total) and I’ve been so for about 5-6 years. I like property management but Overall I do not see myself staying in residential the rest of my life. Running out of patience with the useless problems for crybaby tenants.

However I recently got an offer to be part of the management team for a big shopping Mall. I’d handle the maintenance and security aspect of the job.

My current PM job pays well and has good benefits but also is workaholic culture :
- 97K + 15% bonus
- insurance benefits and personal 350 spending account
- 350/month allowance for groceries for site team (which is like 4 people lol)
- 850/month allowance on “uniform” (I literally just buy personal clothes)
- love my team and bosses
Cons:
- workaholics like crazy
- little work-life balance (have to submit reports 25th and 31st regardless of the day of the week)
- residential kinda sucks

Shopping mall offer:
- 85K + 8% bonus
- insurance benefits
- matches pension contributions 3%
- closer commute for me by like half the time

I don’t know much about the day-to-day though. Is it just as mush headaches and BS ? If so, I’d basically be doing it for less money BUT it would be a slight reroute of my career and may open other doors.

Honestly this decision has been causing me a lot of stress and haven’t been sleeping much because of it.
