I recently received my new Nord Stage 4. I’m coming from a Yamaha background, and I’ve noticed that the sound the Nord’s keys make when released feels quite different.

When I press a key fully down and let it snap back up, it produces noticeably more noise compared to my Yamaha. This seems to happen on almost every key, which makes me think it might just be how the instrument is designed rather than a defect.

I also tried a demo unit in a store, and it seemed to have a similar noise when the keys were released more aggressively.

Is this normal behavior for Nord keyboards, or could mine be faulty?
