Blinkit exposed someone else's order to me
So I just had a kinda weird experience with Blinkit today
I got a call from a delivery guy saying he's outside with my order. I was confused because I didn't order anything, so I told him that. He kept insisting that I did, so I asked for the name on the order. He said a name that sounded similar to mine, but not actually mine. So I checked with my family just in case someone ordered something, but nahh
Then I opened the Blinkit app, and there was an order showing.
But I 100% didn't place it (and it was something random like a blushy blush, which I wouldn't even order tbh)
The order was cod and when i checked the details it had someone else's full name, phone number, and address
the thing which i noticed is that our numbers had the same 8 digits, just arranged differently. Mine starts with 91 and those 8 digits, and theirs had those same 8 digits but ended with 56.
So I'm guessing the app matched the wrong account based on similar digits?
I haven't reported this to blinkit yet, should I? cuz this feels like a pretty serious privacy issue.
Has this happened to anyone else, or did i just got an unique experience to myself lol
