I recently watched a couple of films, Hokum (2026) and His House (2020). I really enjoyed them, but I found myself after both films going down an internet rabbit hole, looking into the history of the creature (minor spoiler alert : The cailleach in Hokum and the apeth in His House).

Can anyone recommend some more films that feature more obscure creatures from folklore around the world that I can sink my teeth into to scratch this new itch ? Thank you
