Any suggestion for surveyors to contact on advice for if cracks are serious or benign
I moved into a new build about 6 years ago, within the first month of moving a couple of cracks formed but I knew that was to be expected. These cracks didn't change in any noticble ways for the last couple of years but i feel as of the last 2 months there have been some new cracks. Notably this lines up with some construction happening down hill from my house starting about 6 months back. Though I have also been a lot more stressed recently and I know when that happens I have a bad habbit of misremembering things in more stressful ways.
I have been trying to do some googling to find out someone I could contact to get some professional eyes on these cracks to see if I should be concerned/anything can be done, or if they are just normal.
