Last thing I was expecting but thankful to be alive and well with no broken bones. Yesterday during the bike portion of Gulf Coast 70.3 around mile 40, myself and another rider impacted a box truck that suddenly turned in-front of us resulting me impacting the side of the truck going around 24-25 mph. I was unconscious immediately after the impact and regained consciousness in the ambulance. Spent the night in the ICU for minor bleeding in the head but just got cleared this morning.
