Hi guys, I recently had to make the decision to put my cat down. She was diagnosed with cancer two weeks ago and was declining pretty rapidly. I bought quite a variety of foods for her during that time to try and get her to eat, but she didn’t have much of an appetite due to ascites in her abdomen.
I was wondering if anyone knows of shelters that accept cat food donations? It’s a lot of pates, churu products, liquid meal replacements and such. I do plan on adopting a kitty later on in my grief journey but I’m taking time to mourn my sweet girl.
It may not have worked out for my girl but I know there are kitties out there who may be in need of yummy treats and food<3
thanks in advance
