Bought a ‘13 club that’s lightly modded, but still stock suspension. Really loving it, its purpose is a weekend fun car, probably won’t do any track driving besides possibly autocrossing with it. I’m too tall to pass the broomstick test even with the tallest softtop rollbar available so I don’t think I can do track days- my head without a helmet barely touches the top crossbows. It’s on 7 year old tires now so at minimum it’s time for new tires, and am contemplating what else to do at the same time.
They’re everywhere but I really, really love the look of 17x9’s on NC’s and would love to do some RPF1’s, but have heard mixed results about the alignment needed, the car needing to be lowered, how aggressive of a fender roll is required, and the tramlining feel. If it was track only it’s a no brainer but I’m suspect of mostly street, especially with craptacular Detroit roads.
Thoughts? Appreciate it!
