The waitress kept serving a grumpy veteran for years. Before he died, he left her $50,000 and his car in his will to thank her for her kindness, even though everyone else avoided him.

Melina Salazar worked as a waitress at Luby’s cafeteria in Texas for nearly seven years, where she regularly served a customer named Walter “Buck” Swords, an 89-year-old World War II veteran.
