Blender lag in low poly scene
I just got my first pc, it is a pre built omen I got from Best Buy, and I tried to running blender on it but right away after only a few minutes into messing with a cube it became super laggy. I exited blender completely and still everything outside of blender continues to be laggy besides my mouse arrow which moves just fine. I have ran extremely heavy games on my computer already like Red Dead Redemption 2, Minecraft but with a lot of mods and detailed shaders which after playing the Homestead mod, started breathing a little harder but nothing matching it since then. None of those make it lag like it does in blender that would continue to affect the whole computer even when closed out of it. It’s all brand new and I got it in February and since it only happens in blender I assume it is specifically caused by it.
Blender runs just fine on my old surface pro 7 laptop. blender on my new computer is completely at factory settings with no changes and I even tried to reinstall my graphics card but the problem still continues and I was just wondering if anyone has experienced the same and if I could fix it in any way. I spent a lot of money for a good computer only for it to not work with the main app I wanted it for.
