I don't really speak on Balance topics in this server because it never goes anywhere other than "she'd be too OP" and "this kit's playstyle isn't good." But as someone who wants her to be better without being too OP, while also enjoying this current playstyle. What if we change the biggest complain of her kit?

The biggest complaints that I see are about her being 10 damage away from one-shotting 250 heroes, while also having a 1-second stun. So, to fix the biggest problem with her kit. The buggy ability and the ability that limits her kit from being more.

This would give her another mobility option when her jumps and running aren't a choice.

Here's how I imagine it working. (This is just me buffering out any errors or miscommunication from my screenshot above...)

Grappling Hook functions almost identically to Daredevil's Aiming it at a surface drags you to that surface. Maybe grappling with the wall and holding space while on the wall allows you to stay grappled while using your weapon. As soon as you let go of the Spacebar, you drop.

Directly hitting Enemies with a grappling hook will pull them to you instead of you to them. It won't stun them when pulling, but instead works as displacement. When the Grapple rope reaches you can reactivate the ability with a kick. The Kick replaces the Grapple ability after use. Allowing you to use it as a displacement ability within 3 seconds after the Grapple Pull ends. For either protection or to continue the combo.

Widow's bite can be a direct hit or an area of effect. Direct Hit would apply the Shocked Effect and stun I talked about Above.

Since Marvel Rivals' Widow uses Electroplasma to replace the normal Widow's Bite, we see. If Widow's Bite hits a surface, it creates a field that slows enemies that walk through it. Maybe block an Angle for flyers shortly, especially if it hits a corner of a building. or small area control. The Field will only last for 3.2 seconds, though.

What this change would solve:

* Different Playstyles Emerge from these new abilities

* Keeps old Playstyle accessible.

* Allow more value to team fights

* Doesn't require Primary weapons to be adjusted. (Especially because Direct Widow bite gives targets Vulnerability (15% damage boost). It'll turn Melee damage from 45 -> 51.75 damage per hit.
