Hiccups

Hey, I'm on this group for my 12 year old son who is part of your fun little club and is all ready for when he gets old enough for a work away day when he's asked to share an interesting fact about himself. 🤣

So far it's not been a huge big deal for him, apart from the odd stomach ache that has been resolved with a head stand. But I've read that it can get worse as they get older so I'm keeping half an eye on this group so I know the options.

For now though - he gets hiccups probably as frequently as burpers and we were both wondering how that works and if it's a different mechanism? I figured you guys might have done enough research to know?

He's autistic and really doesn't like the sensation of having hiccups so if you know anything we can do to limit it then please let me know!
