Hello, i'm not realy used to usb protocole but i need to connect my project to an com port on the computer :
i have made this schematic, my question is the following :I have read that i need to connect the Vbus from usb connector to the CH340c to help him detecting that there is a cable , but on the ch340c output voltage of uart is VCC, and after there is a stm32 or a raspberry pi , so both 3.3V. if I do not connect Vbus to u17 vcc is that ok? or do i need to place a pull resistance between Vbus and VCC?
also on another hand, there will be another usb connector but this time using stm32 usb capability . I have some difficulty to find similar application do i need to place something between D+ and D- on the stm32 or direct is ok?
