New home office desk
Just finishing up this piece for an awkward corner of our home office. I needed a work space that was separate from my computer desk so I modeled this up in fusion and cut it at my day job on our CNC and about 15 hrs of post processing (cutting edge dominos, edge banding, painting). The curves are so the rooms windows aren't blocked by a big cabinet unit, I also didn't want the top to be cluttered with stuff so some storage space but not too much.
I found a knurled brass doorknob on eBay and 3D printed an adapter for a small dimmer so the knob controls the under shelf lighting but also has its own independent light ring/bushing so you can find it in the dark if need be.
All in all very happy with it, my painting skills leave something to be desired but there's always room for improvement.
