Hello long story short I went to a psychologist for insomnia, self-deleting thoughts, no energy, no motivation, constantly feeling upset about something that happened in the world, overthinking, anxiety, depression etc. I got very bad the beginning of this year and I haven’t been able to keep up.

I was prescribed Fluoxetine 20mg. And I was prescribed a sleeping medicine. I’m on day 9 and I genuinely feel awful. My head hurts 7/24. I usually am healthy and I never got intense and non-stop headaches like this. I cannot sleep at all. My sleep issues got way worse. The sleep medicine doesn’t work. I haven’t sleep more than 4-5 hours since I started taking it. My mind is overfilled with thoughts. I cannot shush it. I literally cannot sleep doesn’t matter how tired and sleepy I am (in fact it is 5 am right now) I get cannot get up in the morning because I couldn’t sleep and I am basically a zombie.

I missed all my classes and school events for the past week because of this. I feel even worse than before. I’m scared and want to stop. But my doctor told me to use it for 1 month then schedule a new appointment. I’ll try to push myself until the end of the month. But my head hurts so much I don’t even want to move my head.
